Day 1: Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked by your driver guide from African Crane Safaris who will then transfer you to Queen Elizabeth national park via Mbarara with an en-route stop over at the Equator to perform a simple experiment and experience a tropical balance before proceeding for your lunch in Mbarara town. After lunch, head to the park arriving for an en-route game drive as you transfer to your lodge. Relax for the rest of the day at the spectacular Mweya peninsula as you enjoy great views of this sector of the park, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early morning warm up tea or coffee, you will head for a game drive along Kasenyi tracks and Queens mile in search of animals like: lions, elephants, cape buffalos, warthogs, spotted hyenas, mangoose, waterbucks, kobs and, if you’re lucky the leopard, and a number of bird species, this will see you return for a full breakfast, relax at your lodge into the lunch break and after lunch, enjoy a unique two hours boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This launch cruise gives you a great opportunity for photography, bird watching and game viewing at close range. The prolific bird life is colourful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species recorded, return for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth - Kampala
After an early morning breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth national park for Kampala via Fort Portal town that allows you a visit to the Tooro Kingdom palace for a cultural history, Amabere ga Nyinamwiru (a famous cultural site attached to the Tooro Kingdom) and if time allows visit the crater lakes before returning for your lunch in Fort Portal town, after lunch, transfer to Kampala arriving early evening.
